“Places it has arrived/ New and the old/ Flipping pages of a book/ To unravel secrets untold”. If I’d have to describe these poetries in few words then I’d say that it has Intriguing lines, interesting metaphors and intoxicating contexts. From time to time, different poetry books keep coming in the market but there are not a very great percentage of books with remarkable collection of poems, and this book is one of those book.

“Looks the Turtle/ Up to the sky/ Where birds soar/ High and fly.” Whether it’s about war or being happy or it’s about getting old or a travelling soul, this book has touched a lot of different subjects. Whether you read about relationships, love, soul, or old age. This book gives crux of everything.

This is a quite short read with only 27 pages and has 18 short and marvelous poems. Each poem has rhyming scheme and simple language. This is a book that you can read in one go or you can read it at a slow pace. This is your choice as a reader. Amazing read! I highly recommend this. MUST BUY.

1. Can you please introduce yourself and tell us something about your book "And Then I Laughed" Answer:  My name is Melissa and I am a single widow of four young children who are my reason for everything I do. I spent many years traveling, being very mobile and sometimes homeless so I enjoy my little house and the stability and coziness it gives my family. Maybe one day I will be open to exploring again, but for now I am enjoying the calm of four walls.  2. When did you get the thoughts of writing this book?  Answer:  This book, And Then I Laughed, is the cul...
