Shivi and Satty: And the Rudra Sena by Anupama Gupta

BOOK - Shivi and Satty: And the Rudra Sena
AUTHOR: Anupama Gupta

*My Ratings* : 4.7/5 ⭐

Shivi and Satty: And the Rudra Sena by Anupama Gupta is the second book in the Shivi and Satty series and it successfully picks up the story right from where it ended and takes another great elevation in the story and gives us another fantastic adventure ride with a mix of action and love and thrill. A complete package.

At the beginning we get a quick recap of what happened in the previous book. And then the story begins with a scene in Shivi's home and we realise that Shivi and Vipin are back home but Satty is in Ashram yet and will remain there for some more time for some essential training from none other than Mahaguru Chintarana.

Even if Satty has ended the war once he knew that Kaaleeva will soon be back with his army and he will have to sacrifice himself to defeat Kaaleeva, but when Shivi learns about this she will do anything to save her love of life. But will she be able to do so? If all this trouble was somehow less there is one another unknown enemy who is targeting everyone in Satty's army one by one. Who is this new enemy? Will Satty be able to defeat him and Kaaleeva?

The book was a fun read, as I said in the first book the world building is great and you immerse yourself in this world. This book once picked will give you a hard time to put it down before finishing it.

This is a great read for lovers of adventure, action and fantasy thriller genre lovers.

TEN Questions with Melissa Reeves

1. Can you please introduce yourself and tell us something about your book "And Then I Laughed" Answer:  My name is Melissa and I am a single widow of four young children who are my reason for everything I do. I love being creative and have loved to write since a young age. Introducing myself feels strange right now. I am still in the process of rediscovering who I am in the midst of being a widow and a mother, a journey I think all mothers face. I am much more interested in the company I keep than where I want to be. It doesn't matter where I go, as long as I am around people I love. I spent many years traveling, being very mobile and sometimes homeless so I enjoy my little house and the stability and coziness it gives my family. Maybe one day I will be open to exploring again, but for now I am enjoying the calm of four walls.  2. When did you get the thoughts of writing this book?  Answer:  This book, And Then I Laughed, is the cul...

Faith, Strength, and Courage by Gregory O. Proctor

"Faith, Strength, and Courage: A Memoir of Overcoming Adversity & Embracing Life's Journey" by Gregory O. Proctor is a powerful narrative of resilience and personal growth. The memoir, introduced by Shonda Allen Hill, Ph.D., sets an emotional tone with a foreword that highlights Proctor's multifaceted nature—vulnerable yet powerful, empathetic yet demanding. Proctor's story is profoundly honest and evocative, with one of the most moving sections detailing the death of his father. This deeply personal recounting serves as a catalyst for Proctor’s self-reflection and transformation, showcasing his journey through grief and resilience. The memoir also candidly addresses the challenges of professional life as a Black American in a predominantly white corporate world, filled with systemic barriers and prejudice. Proctor’s determination and resolve are evident as he navigates these obstacles. His narrative takes a poignant turn with the diagnosis of mult...
