Sia has always been told by her father that she was so quick witted she could be a lawyer. His words were constant in her thoughts. With little to no knowledge about this field she still gave it a chance and decide to pursue a law degree. There were many opportunities for her to experience different types of incidents as this field was one of many stories.
The Book contains a collection of six stories all through the eyes of the Author.Written in a third person perspective the stories narrate the events of a courtroom throughout these chapters. Being a lawyer is a difficult job. The stories all contain the common theme of law with Sia being the protagonist. Each chapters contains the different elements of law. They are Complaint, Court(Judge),Litigation,Lawyer, Imprisonment and Offender.
We live in a world full of rules and regulations. It is important to know how the world works and the stories of other people. Even though we may have personally not experienced these incidents ourselves it is very important to learn about the world we live in.
I highly recommend this book as it not only interesting but educational as well. The stories are something you will get invested in quickly. Be sure to give it a read.

1. Can you please introduce yourself and tell us something about your book "And Then I Laughed" Answer:  My name is Melissa and I am a single widow of four young children who are my reason for everything I do. I love being creative and have loved to write since a young age. Introducing myself feels strange right now. I am still in the process of rediscovering who I am in the midst of being a widow and a mother, a journey I think all mothers face. I am much more interested in the company I keep than where I want to be. It doesn't matter where I go, as long as I am around people I love. I spent many years traveling, being very mobile and sometimes homeless so I enjoy my little house and the stability and coziness it gives my family. Maybe one day I will be open to exploring again, but for now I am enjoying the calm of four walls.  2. When did you get the thoughts of writing this book?  Answer:  This book, And Then I Laughed, is the cul...
